Our specialized expertise really came into play on this project: a dual-backdrop design, under-floor wiring, custom in-house millwork, new wall and door, relocated stairs, a movable wall section that housed a monitor, maximum noise isolation, quality film lighting, and a secret door integrated into the wall for storage.

Decades before Cinergy Construction built luxury home theaters, CEO Greg Francis’ grandfather Harry Francis managed cinemas in Los Angeles. One of these, Fox West Coast Theatres’ Crest Theatre in Long Beach, was promoted as the first prefab movie palace.
This custom-designed, 15-seat custom home theater included metal and onyx sconces, a backlit onyx bar, and a star ceiling with a newly designed soffit to house and hide a new HVAC system and provide a new lighting feature, and we completed the project under a tight deadline.
