Our recording studio project for South Park’s new sound studio—yes, the “South Park” (let the Kenny jokes begin)—turned out to be a creative and collaborative experience in a whole new dimension.
Our specialized expertise really came into play on this project: a dual-backdrop design, under-floor wiring, custom in-house millwork, new wall and door, relocated stairs, a movable wall section that housed a monitor, maximum noise isolation, quality film lighting, and a secret door integrated into the wall for storage.
It was a challenge and a delight converting this empty room into a fully soundproofed and outfitted podcast studio for the Braille Institute in Los Angeles. See their note of gratitude in “Happy Clients” on our front page!
Working from what was originally a garden, we built a writing room; its multiple French doors, vaulted ceiling, and high windows create light and space and an atmosphere of serenity.
