Using Stretched Fabric in Building Design
At Cinergy Construction, we are experts at constructing spaces for optimal acoustics and design. We work with facility architects, consultants and other stakeholders to ensure the success of each acoustic construction project.
We provide and install a wide range of fabric walls and ceilings systems designed to your specification and acoustic needs. Not only does stretched fabric provide a unique and highly customizable look to your space but it also can be combined with acoustic backing to absorb sound in otherwise very noisy spaces. This combination of visual and audible enhancement can improve almost any space.
The acoustical material can be either reflective or absorbing and it can be applied to the walls or ceilings or to moveable panels to accommodate various seating configurations. In addition, our solutions can incorporate artwork and graphics as integral components of the design.
Utilizing Stretched Fabric In Commercial Design

Stretched Fabric Solutions:
Printed Fabric. Print almost anything on fabric, such as art, high resolution photographs, designs, and almost any color imaginable to give you almost any finish look. This gives you a unique design combined with the noise reductions properties giving your space the best visual and acoustic feel.
Wide span fabric. Up to 16’ wide and any length. This reduces seams and allows us to cover large areas with fewer installation hours.
Design. Drafting and 3d renderings for fabric layout and design.
Drywall alternative. With drywall noise reflection can become overwhelming and uncomfortable. With fabric you can reduce the overall noise and create unique patterns and colors. Rather than repainting fabric can be repaired or replaced with ease. Essentially you have a wall you can tune to the noise level you want and to the look you want, anytime you want. Virtually any wall or ceiling can have outstanding acoustical performance, without the traditional look of fabric-covered panels.
Acoustic clouds. These are ceiling hung acoustical shapes, wrapped in fabric available in almost any shape and size. Acoustic clouds are used to provide a decorative element to any ceiling while improving the overall acoustical performance of the space.
Variety of Fabrics. We work with the best textile manufacturers in the world. Cinergy has a wide variety of fabric available depending on the application. We can offer a wide range of acoustically transparent fabric suited to go in front of speakers and acoustical panels and many other decorative fabrics. Fabric design can also be beautiful, so If you have your own fabric we can test it to ensure it will stretch for installation or test for acoustically transparency if used in front of speakers.
Fabric Lighting. Cinergy can create translucent fabric light clouds and light boxes for various applications. By backlighting fabric with speciality LED or flourecent lighting we can create unique lighting effects that can enhance any space while also reducing noise from otherwise noise reflective spaces.
Cinergy has over 10 years professional experience installing stretch fabric as part of both residential and commercial projects.
Style. Beauty. Performance.
Fabric panels and wall finishing systems enhance both the appearance and livability of your home by adding design, texture and color to your living spaces while improving the room acoustics and functionality. You can transform the beauty and acoustics of any room in your home using fabric panels.
Fabric wall and ceiling coverings are also a great solution to finish your home theater or recording. Acoustically transparent fabrics can also cover speakers and acoustic treatments in your theater or recording studio serving dual purpose of performance and a highly custom finish.
