It always adds an extra level of interest when we work on a project for a celebrity, but when we built a dual-purpose custom home theater and golf simulator for Chris Pratt last year at his Pacific Palisades home, it was a special thrill for our Head of Production, David Leyva, who met Chris himself at the site on his very first day of work with Cinergy. “That was not your typical first day on a new job,” says David. “Graham Osborne (Cinergy’s President) took me to visit the job site, and while we were looking at the golf simulator, in walked Chris, to see how the job was going. That was an unexpected surprise, to say the least.”

Now we’re getting a new thrill; seeing our theater featured in real estate listings, as Chris and his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger have put their home up for sale. We wonder who’ll be teeing off next in our theater?

A Look Back At Our Work

Here are some look-back photos of our work, where we built a completely new theater in the old-theater space, starting with a complete room isolation and finishing with new AV equipment, screen, seating, stretched fabric wall treatments, and of course the dual-use features that include easy seating rearrangement and a sophisticated golf simulation program.
